Drake Tools

Drake tools are a quality tool that I became enamored with when I gave them a try at a Cleve Taylor seminar. Cleve was selling just two Drake tools and I loved them both. I mentioned to Cleve that who ever this Drake guy was he should make more. Cleve told me he did and I immediately contacted Gil Drake to see what else I could buy.

Gil is an outstanding caricature carver out of the state of Washington and has been making top notch tools for years.

One of the first persons I showed these tools to was Dick Jacobs, one of Michigan’s top caricature carvers. Dick who had not bought a new tool in years fell in love with them and he ordered darn near every tool Gil made and replaced almost everything in his tool box!
